Zen Soccer

Still trying to catch up on the blogging!  Carlie just finished soccer last month.  It was her first time playing and she loved it!  Their team tied for first place out of about 20 teams playing that season.  I'll post a few pictures for everyone to see here.  Carlie is still into meditation, buddha and everything zen.  She created a Zen zone in the dining room the other day - we all had to meditate.  At school the teacher had them do a creative writing assignment where she told the kids to write about what they would do with $100.  Most of the kids wrote about cool toys.  One little boy wrote that he would buy his mom flowers - lots of them!  Carlie wrote that she would build a Buddhist temple so she could meditate in peace!!!!  Very funny.
The following week the teacher assigned another writing project, to write instructions on how to do something.  Most of the kids wrote how to build a snowman, being Christmas time and all.  Some wrote on how to make a sandwich.  Carlie wrote "How to take over the world."  She said first you start small and take over New Zealand........  it works itself up the ladder to the grand finale of taking over the USA.  I'm not too sure how that fits in with her Zen Zone, or her Buddhist beliefs, but I'm sure she has it all reconciled somehow!
